    In order to create added value to our partners, we use different advertising strategies that appear as a news item in our published news feed and are labelled as ads. The main reason why we use this type of advertising is that it is so much more effective because it is portrayed as regular content on, for example, our news site.

    CPM Advertising Costs

    To make sure that our partners never pays more than the platform performs we handle the so cold CPM price management. CPM (costs per mille/thousand) is an advertising term that represents the cost of one thousand ad impressions. One impression is essentially a potential customer viewing an ad. CPM is calculated by taking the cost of the advertising and dividing by the total number of impressions, then multiplying the total by 1000 (CPM = cost/impressions x 1000). More commonly, a CPM rate is set by a platform for its advertising space and used to calculate the total cost of an ad campaign.

    Monthly CPM Calculation

    • Impressions p/m = 5000
    • Ad cost 500 kr.
    • 5000 x 500 kr. = x / 1000
    • You spend 2500 kr. p/m
    • Left budget 7500 kr.
