About Linköping University
- Applications are submitted via antagning.se, usually during the period March–April.
- You need to have basic and specific qualifications, which may include specific high school courses.
- Once the selection has been made (i.e., based on grades or university entrance exams), you will be notified by email in mid-July (for fall admission) and in early December (for spring admission).
- Response to admission notification: you must accept the offer to retain your place; if you are on the reserve list, you must also accept the offer to remain in the queue.
- Eligibility may sometimes be conditional – in which case you must meet the requirements by the start of the course at the latest.
Advanced level (master's programs/international programs)
- Applications are submitted via universityadmissions.se, which is usually open from October to January.
- Entry requirements: Bachelor's degree and equivalent English language skills (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL). Specific requirements may vary between programs – check the program page.
- Selection is based on merits, previous education, study plan, and sometimes a letter of motivation or CV.
- Notification will be given in March–April after the application period.
