Would you like more opportunities to practise your sport and combine it with your sixth-form studies? At Partille Gymnasium, you can choose from three different sports profiles, regardless of which programme you apply for. If you want to focus on your sport and combine it with your studies, you can choose a sports profile. This means you’ll be able to take sports courses as individual choices. This gives you the opportunity to train during school hours. If you wish to study a programme with a sports profile, you should select this when making your upper secondary school choice in Year 9. You can also choose a sports profile once you have started at Partille Gymnasium.

If you’re interested in practising your sport as part of the individual choice programme in upper secondary school, Local Sports Education (LIU) might be for you. You apply to LIU/LIP as early as Year 9. This is done as part of the same application you submit to the upper secondary school. If there are a large number of applicants, places will be allocated by lottery. For pupils on the LIU/LIP programme, the ‘individual choice’ programme begins in Year 1 and continues throughout all three years.
