Admission to Chalmers University of Technology is via two main routes: Undergraduate level (bachelor's, civil engineering, and university engineering programs)
  • Application: via antagning.se (usually in March–April).
  • Selection: based on high school grades, college entrance exams, and in some cases, entrance exams.
  • Entry requirements: requires basic and specific qualifications in, for example, mathematics and physics.

  • Advanced level (master's program)
    • Application: via universityadmissions.se, open October–January.
    • Qualifications: minimum bachelor's degree in a relevant subject + English language skills.
    • Selection: overall assessment of grades, educational background, and sometimes CV/motivation letter.
