Play SUHL student hockey in Sweden

The Swedish University Hockey Federation (SUHF) was founded in 2022 with the aim of further developing university hockey in Sweden. Currently, the SUHF board includes both active and former players with experience in Swedish and international hockey.

The ambition of SUHL is to make ice hockey at universities and colleges more attractive and to motivate players to continue their passion after high school by combining studies and sports.

SUHL has been around for a few years and has participated in ice hockey competitions under its own auspices in recent years. From 2023 onwards, it has been decided to play under the Swedish Ice Hockey Association. All teams come from both universities and colleges in Sweden.

The series, led by SHUL, consists of the top eight teams. The series, known as the Academic Games, consists of a total of 24 matches played in competition during the season. The seven SUHL teams are spread across eastern and upper southern Sweden.

SUHL encourages ice hockey players to pursue higher education after high school, thereby creating a platform where knowledge and sports interact.
