How to get into the Swedish high school hockey ?

Application opens September 13 and closes December 1.
The target group for the elite hockey high schools is last year’s A-boys / girls (U 16), i.e. students who are about to finish primary school and start studying at upper secondary school level.
How does an National high school hockey selection work?
This year, applications to the elite hockey high schools must be received by the Swedish Ice Hockey Association no later than 1 December and are made by clicking on the application button below. Assessment and ranking of applicant students is carried out by the respective arranged high school, cooperating association and the instructor who is responsible for the training. Students can search for a maximum of 4 different options without mutual ranking and after 1/12 the choices can not be changed.

Admission process NIU High School Hockey

Step 1Register your interest no later than December 1 on SIF’s website. Maximum of 4 different options.

Step 2Calculate your merit score to find the right education at the perforated high school.

Step 3After registration of interest, you will be notified of admission by January 25 at the latest.

Step 4High School: applications for program selection are submitted between January 9 – February 15.
Admission process LIU & LIP High School Hockey

Step 1Register your interest via antagning.se by April 15 at the latest. Registration opens on March 16.

Step 2When the application period has closed, a first preliminary admission is made.

Step 3You must be qualified, which means having passed grades in the required subjects.

Step 4It is only at the final admission that you will be informed if you have been accepted in these cases.
